Enjoying Fall, My Favorite Season

Fall is my favorite season of the year.

When I was younger it was always because of my name day and birthday which are in this season, but when I got older it was also because of the trees which are turning into so many beautiful colors and the fog – all those mysterious landscapes. Now, with time I’m realizing that good things happen to me in the fall.

Last fall I met the man I love ❤, who made my life so much better than it was before I met him ❤ that now I don’t even need to wait for the fall for good things to happen, because with him in my life every day is great, and so special when he’s beside me ❤.

This fall just started so something bigger can still happen (I still believe that fall keeps its magic for me 🙂 ), but so far I enjoy all the moments of the fall 2016.

Yesterday, my boyfriend’s best friend took us for a date to The Works in Burlington where we had some delicious burgers and great time :). Also, the service there was great!

I took “Greek Goddess” (my boyfriend decided for me) 🙂 and he took “Smokey Mountain” my mountain man :). Trust me, they were really delicious!

Try them whenever you have a chance and you’re in Canada! 🙂

Small styling tip: if you want to wear a dress, but before you need to do some shopping, wear white sneakers and take your stilettos in a bag with you and put them in the trunk and when you’re ready quickly change them on the parking lot, like I did yesterday, haha. Well, it was day to night outfit.

When we got home we spent some very quality time with my boyfriend which I love the most! ❤

Today on the other hand, I’m spending the day on my own, some me-time (my boyfriend is at work).

Fall is great for days under the blanket with candles and some tea in your hand.

However and with whoever you like spending time, do it and enjoy every moment of it! 🙂

Be happy and thankful for everything you have and for what is yet to come! 🙂

  5. Ahh, autumn – such a beautiful season. Bright sunshine, glistening frosts, colour’s of every tone and ever changing. Some of the land and animals getting ready to sleep for for the winter before bringing new life and energy in the Spring.
    Today in the UK we woke to a frost, sparkling like diamonds in the bright sunshine as the gentle breeze sways the trees of many colour’s. Beautiful 🙂

  6. I used to like Autumn (as we call it here) best when I was a kid but nowadays I prefer Spring. There are 2 main reasons for that: firstly, our leaves fall off pretty much as soon as they change colour most years and the light is usually so bad at this time of year all the colours look muted anyway. Secondly, I dread the onset of winter and Autumn reminds me it’s on its way whereas Spring is a time of hope for me – hope we get a decent summer and I’ll get warm again and wear nice clothes!

  17. You live in Canada? That is interesting. My husband and I are dreaming of travelling through Canada, from Toronto, where he lived as a little boy, to Vancouver and take a boat trip there to see the whales. And maybe a train trip through the Rocky Mountains? 😉 Canada is so beautiful!

    We are from Denmark. My husband’s parents emigrated to Canada, when he was five years old, so he started school there. But for family reasons they had to go back to Denmark a few years later.

    Autumn is wonderful, I agree, but I do like spring as well, when everything wakes up again. Both seasons are magical.

    1. That’s wonderful and what’s even funny is that we were thinking of such trip as well! From Toronto to Vancouver, but maybe next year :). Yes, spring is magical as well, well all the seasons are, let’s be honest :).

It’s great to have this connection not least because I have an October birthday, and although Fall is not my favourite season (Summer is), it is still up there with the things I love. Autumn colours are my favourite thing about the Fall.

  40. We share a love for autumn! Living in Los Angeles, however, leaves much to be desired when it comes to the beautiful splendor of autumn. I envy those who get to experience all four seasons, especially the fall!
