  3. The struggles of being an adult! I mean its easier to just report issues to your parents as a kid but as you grow up you have to be keen and pay attention and take charge of such things… aargh!!!

    Hot water is on the left,
    Cold water goes on the right.
    Sewage doesn’t run uphill. Congratulations, you’re a plumber. 😀

    Nothing worse than plumbing problems!! If anyone ever has a clog in their mainline, don’t get ripped off by one of the many companies charging hundreds of dollars to clear it. You can do it yourself by renting a machine for about $75. Saved over $400 doing this myself. As suggested by llooydsphotography, you can learn a lot on youtube too!

  16. I am impressed that you two were able to DIY the plumbing system. I did replace the kitchen sink drainage, last Fall, with the landlord’s help. Washing machine faucet valves can do the most damage, as they can break when being shut off, thus flooding the drywall- a true nightmare.

  19. We recently bought a home in Guam and have been going through a lot of plumbing repairs and updates lately. We’ve discovered things that never should have been installed the way they were in the first place. Such a headache, but it’s a relief to know things are flowing right when it’s repaired.
