Glacial Oceanic Clay is found only in a remote region of coastal British Columbia in Canada. Back in the day till this day this clay has been used for medical purposes, like strengthening the immune system, healing cuts and scratches and other superficial wounds.

I wasn’t a huge fan of masks, but I’ve recently started to discover more about them and have been willing to try out some :). After finding out about glacial oceanic clay and how good it is for your skin, I went ahead and try out Nena Skincare Clay Mask. I have already used it about 6 times (twice a week) and after each use my skin is smooth, silky, clean and very hydrated.
After my first use, my husband said “your face looks very clean and glowing” and I asked “was it that dirty earlier?!”, we both laughed :D.
I wasn’t too surprised with the results, because I was expecting such, since I read that it contains more than 60 minerals and anti-inflammatory properties. Glacial Clay helps reduce pore size and in order to hydrate the face, it uses its osmotic strength to pull moisture up from deep inner tissues.
Also, what I really like about this mask are the texture, thickness and the smell which is very “earthy”. It almost reminds me of my backyard in spring when I was a young girl playing with fresh soil and planting blue Matthiola flowers :).
All in all, Nena Clay Mask is the only mask I stick to nowadays! 🙂
