Time Flies With A Speed Of Light

This Christmas I have realized that time flies like crazy. When V (my husband) and I were watching all the Christmas movies, I felt like we watched them yesterday.

Our life is in our hands and what we do with it is up to us. I’ve looked at all those times when I felt stressed over this year, worried about unexpected and then I thought: why?!

Count Your Blessings

When you look at your life as a big picture, all those little things that make you worried in every day life, seem so small and irrelevant. To be honest with you guys, even a little thing can make me very stressful. V is always great at keeping me calm, but I also know that I can do better.

You need to have hope, be grateful for what you have and know that the sunshine always comes up after the rain. Especially when it’s a drizzle :).

Our Christmas

Christmas Eve is the most important day for me during these holidays since I was a little girl. It is so meaningful for me now that I get to spend it with the love of my life, because I do remember in the past when I wanted to be with someone special by my side.

V and I decided to make our favorite lamb shank from Tru Local with sweet potatoes and kale. The funny thing is that we made same sweet kale and potatoes as last year. What can I say beside that we truly like it with a taste of coconut oil. Of course, we also had Polish pierogies with mushrooms, which we made together from scratch.

After we ate, we simply spent the rest of this festive night under the blanket watching Christmas movies with hot cocoa.

It’s another beautiful Christmas for our memory lane.

We more or less spent Christmas day the same way, good food and good movies.
