Friday's Five: #VoiceForThePlanet ⋆ Simple Ula

I cannot believe that the end of July is so close. I’ve recently even started to think that the winter is coming, lol. I wouldn’t mind though, because every time the end of summer comes, I cannot wait for fall and some snow after that :). Nevertheless, we still have summer and some time before the end of the year to achieve our goals for 2020 (despite the pandemic).

I hope you’ll have the best weekend and here are some of the things I find interesting and would like to share with you :).

1. Our Planet

Have you seen this documentary: “Our Planet“? It is so informative and so beautifully made that as far as I am concerned, every human being should watch this. I’ve already seen it once, but I’m thinking of watching it one more time :). It is that good!

3. Reusable Straws

While taking care of our planet, we can reduce the use of plastic straws. You can check this brand called MTL STRW that offers metal straws that are reusable, sustainable and bursting with shimmering colors. These are the ones I use every day :).

I think I should get some silicone straws, as well for later on when Lily would like to taste my smoothies. I’m sure that’ll happen and metal ones might not be a good idea for a baby. Do you have any recommendations? 🙂

4. Another Show Recommendation

“Defending Jacob” gripped V and I that we couldn’t wait to watch another episode. Amazing acting and full of clever twists and turns. I highly recommend it to anyone that is a fan of drama, crime and/or mystery.

5. Lip Nectar

I’ve already mentioned Vapour many times on my blog, here and here and on my Instagram, which is a luxurious alternative to conventional makeup. I like them the most for their natural and clean ingredients :). Recently, I had a chance to try their lip nectar and I love it! It is very moisturizing and beautifully compliments your natural look.
