Recently, I have been completely MIA and it is all because of my trip to Poland. Yes, I’ve been to Europe for a little over two weeks. The main reason for it was to just hug my mom and dad and I’m extremely happy I had a chance to do so.
It’s Been Over Three Years
I haven’t seen my parents, family and my best friend for over three years. My parents are not in the best health, that’s why I had to go there now and not later. That’s also why I had a complete time off to be with them 100%. I wasn’t posting on here nor on my Instagram.
Many people would say that when you have your own business, you never have time off. I believe though that if you really want something, you’re able to make it happen. I was responding to the emails, but I wasn’t doing anything besides that.
I would like to apologize to all of you for my disappearance. I had been planning on writing a post before, but I didn’t want to, because it was a complete surprise! No one knew about me coming to Poland except my hubby and my best friend :). This time off was very precious for me and I will never forget that time I spent with my parents.
Me, Myself And I
I did went to Europe by myself. Unfortunately, due to health problems, the doctor doesn’t let V fly. That being said, it wasn’t a fully enjoyable trip for me. I was missing my sweet husband even more than I thought is possible, seriously. Thank God for technology which gave us the ability to see and talk to each other every day. We were both counting the days and hours till we meet again so diligent.
Seeing V at the airport with my favorite flower in his hand and a box of chocolates was one of the happiest days of my life. I didn’t care that I had my luggage with me, I left it and hugged him so tight that I almost choked him.
Time Apart
Being so far from each other made us both realize how we cannot live without each other. We could survive, of course, but what is surviving without living?!
For instance, I had been excited to go back to Poland and eat some of my favorite dishes from back home. I did that, but they weren’t that good. Were they too salty or something? Not sure, but I’m sure that if my husband would be there next to me having the same dish as me, it would taste so much better! 🙂
The Trip
Everything went smoothly, except little flight delays. I do enjoy flying by planes so that was fun for me. I even had a chance to see in person the U.S. Air Force at the Warsaw Chopin Airport, due to US hosting Iran-focused global meeting in Poland.
With the six hour difference in time between here and Poland, I do still have a jet lag, but I do have in mind all the tips I wrote about here.
As I’ve mentioned before, I did want to spend some very quality time with my parents so I wasn’t going out or sightseeing since I already know Poland very well :). Nevertheless I did take some pictures, I want to share with you below.
Find me on social media, because it’ll be great to have you there and follow me 🙂 :
