10 Small Canadian Businesses To Support

Like every year to celebrate Canada Day, I would love to introduce you to (if you don’t know them already) 10 small Canadian businesses to support right now! 🙂

1. mini mioche

“mini mioche is an ethically sustainable, climate neutral brand that offers the best kids clothes on (and for) the planet.” These “the softest, the snuggest, the coziest, the coolest baby, toddler, and kids’ clothes” are made with100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. All I can say is that my Lily loves wearing them everyday! 🙂

2. Rose Boreal

“Rose Boreal is a sustainable activewear brand that grew its roots in Eastern Canada.” What I appreciate is that they prioritize eco-conscious materials and ethical practices, ensuring that each piece reflects their dedication to preserving the environment. Their clothes are very comfortable, and you look chic wearing them, whether you working out or going for a walk with your family.

3. Ash Mollie Jewelry

If you’re looking for some beautiful, timeless jewelry – this is your place. They have so many options to choose from that everybody will find something for themselves. Personally, I really like their statement earrings – simple, yet very elegant and trendy.

4. Othersea Bikini

“Otheresea Bikini is a locally handmade swimsuits company with concern for environment and well-being in Canada.” The quality of their bikinis is so great that their pieces will last you for a long time. On top of that, as far as I am concerned, the colors and designs are just amazing.

5. Encircled

Encircled is a Canadian & female-founded sustainable clothing brand dedicated to ethical clothing that is comfortable, travel-friendly & made in Canada, of course. Their clothes are ethically made from the finest, most soft and flattering eco-friendly fabrics, which means great quality and comfort.

6. Nala Care

Nana Care is a free-from skincare line that provides high quality, efficacious products, while encouraging deep self care. Their natural deodorant is free-from aluminum, carcinogens, phthalates, parabens, and cruelty and the most important thing is that it actually works. Honestly, I don’t see myself using any other deodorant.

7. Happiness Is Inc.

Happiness Is Inc. offers cozy casual clothing and gifts that “inspire happiness and connection and keep you feeling full of gratitude”. Their clothes are ethically and mindfully made locally. I also love this story behind the brand: “At the age of 95 (not a typo!), with wisdom, reflection and passion, Gordon Carton founded Happiness Is Inc., as a way to inspire us to find our happiness within. He knew it’s impossible to have a lifetime of happiness, but the gratitude we can have for what makes us smile, and the connections we share with the people around us, the happier we become. And happiness is contagious.”

8. Micro Scooter Canada

Micro Scooter Canada is the place where you can find world’s best quality scooters, kickboards and other innovative personal transport solutions for children and adults. As well as some cute accessories needed for your fun adventures.

9. Fancy Little Day

Fancy Little Day offers a range of decorative products and accessories for birthday parties for children of all ages. All of their products are re-usable and hand-made with natural fabrics in Montréal.

10. Q for Quinn

At Q for Quinn, they use organic cotton, linen, and wool that are buttery soft and of the highest quality and create the most comfortable and clean basics for everyone from babies to adults. All of their products are designed in Canada and made with GOTS organic cotton and are 100% free of Lead.
