Jeans and T-shirt For Any Time of the Day

If we met a couple years ago, you would notice that my go-to outfit are jeans and T-shirt. No matter what time of the day it is and no matter where I’m heading to, I’m wearing them. As you probably already know, this is super comfy and it allows you to go from a day at work to lovely time at the park to dinner with your significant other with just a few quick changes on the way.

In order to achieve such look, you need to get a nice t-shirt and by nice I mean a good quality one. This way you can wear it all day long and feel comfortable in it. If you already have a white t-shirt, it’s also good to invest in the one that has some colors. That being said, matching it with black or white jeans is not a problem at all.

Not long ago I have found out about Chisom Chiedu, who is the creator and designer of Makalia – women’s clothing line which shows us that casual clothing doesn’t have to be bland. The designer of Makalia after finishing the university, she decided to pursue her dream, which is designing clothes. One of her t-shirts is exactly about it: “Excuse me while I dream“, which is my favorite in her statement collection. I pair it with white, ripped jeans and white sneakers and I’m ready for a walk with my hubby or to do some shopping.

If I planned to go out in the evening, I would just put on my black skinny jeans, high heels and some statement earrings to make it more chic. It’s as easy as that! 🙂

Two other T-shirts from the statement collection (one of them you can see above) were inspired by an abstract painting. When I saw it, I instantly thought about Piet Mondrian’s (who was a Dutch painter) composition of yellow, blue and red.

Even though I wear mostly dresses nowadays, I still like going back to my “old style” and rock jeans and t-shirt together :).

What is your go-to outfit?
