My favorite holiday starts tomorrow and I couldn’t be happier! 🙂
I remember when we used to clean the whole house from top to bottom before this holiday had come at my family home. We also used to draw the patterns on the eggs with wax and then dye them. They’re called pysanky. Since I was the youngest, I was the worst at it. My mom and dad, though, are a pro. We keep their eggs from years before and they were doing a fantastic job.
Easter Food
As far as I am concerned, Easter Sunday breakfast is the most important. I will, for sure, make lots of different eggs. Boiled eggs, cut in half with mayonnaise and some garden cress on top (they’re my favorite). Eggs stuffed with some tuna and my (other favorite and V’s) vegetable salad with, again, garden cress on top.
What We’re Watching
On Friday, V and I always watch the movie “The Passion of the Christ” just to remember what Good Friday is all about.
I also really like watching all the other religious movies or series. When I lived in Poland, such movies were being shown on TV around this time. Back then, the TV was just on and it was playing while we were cleaning, cooking and preparing for Easter Sunday.
