February 2025 Favourites: Disney On Ice and Home Workouts

February was a fun, winter month. We had so much snow, but more than half of it is already gone. With that being said, spring is almost here and with that, my favourite holiday – Easter is coming.

Before that, let’s go back to the beginning of February when my family and I had a chance to see Disney On Ice once again. This time it was “Mickey’s Search Party” in Ottawa, of course.

If you haven’t seen it on my Instagram, here is the reel from this event that I created:

As always, it was spectacular. I do think though that we loved it more than the one before, which was “Into the Magic”. It had more characters in it and overall it was more entertaining for kiddos, in my opinion.

The set Lily is wearing has already been mentioned here

With the weather not so great outside, I focused on working out more at home. As you can see below, I always have my workout buddy with me and I love it so much!

On top of the workout on the mat, I’m also jumping for about 30 minutes on the trampoline (just a heads-up – it’s on great sale right now!). Did you know that rebounding can be three times more effective at burning calories when compared to other exercises, like running? I do make sure that I’m not drinking any water for an hour before, because otherwise I need to run to the bathroom a few times while jumping. I am thinking now about going back to my stationary bike, (which is on sale, as well – over $100 less!). We shall see, and I’ll let you know next month probably if I did.

For those with kiddos around, stay tuned, because I’m working on this year’s Easter Basket Gift Guide. Some of my suggestions are really great and won’t disappoint the little ones, I promise.

  1. It’s a good idea to incorporate exercises that are also fun to do like jumping on trampoline and biking otherwise everything seems like a boring task to complete. May your March is also enjoyable! 🙂
