February for me is the time when you start to think about summer, which means making some fun plans and “getting the body ready”. Even though, I don’t like the idea of getting fit before summer, because I do strongly believe that it’s good to be fit the whole year. This time of year is a great motivation to get more often on the mat or go to the gym – whatever works for you.
I’ve actually found some really cool workout mats here, if you’re looking for one, which are all with 100% natural rubber. You also have a choice of suede mat or a grip one.
Last month, we had an opportunity to see another performance of Disney on Ice at the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa. This time it was “Road Trip Adventures”, and Lily was very happy to see some of her favourite characters and we with her :).
My family and I were also invited to see an advanced screening of the movie “Hoppers”, which again we all enjoyed very much :). If you haven’t seen it, it’s a perfect family movie with a significant lesson on empathy, environmental stewardship, and the power of connection. Highly recommend it!
I cannot not write about big sport events that happened, such as The 2026 Winter Olympics and Super Bowl LX, which both gathered us in front of the TV with some yummy snacks and drinks for the whole fam.
When it comes to some of my cooking, I was very happy, mostly because my beautiful people loved it :), first with my dinner when I made a little too much carrots and potatoes, lol, and the other one where I made homemade burgers, French fries and salad. The latter one felt a little bit like summer barbecue :). Speaking of barbecue, all three of us cannot wait for the season to open! 🙂
Lastly, but not least, we were invited to try some of the delicious food and see the new renovation of Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar located at 360 Albert St Unit 110 in (downtown) Ottawa.
You can actually see the reel from our visit here 🙂 :
Find me on social media, because it’ll be great to have you there and follow me 🙂 :
