At this time off year especially, as the year draws to a close and we look forward to the holidays, Christmas and New Year, we can also start to become a little more focused on our lives. New year is a popular opportunity to set yourself new goals, click the reset switch on your life and make some changes to how you look and how you feel. The truth of the matter is, so many people decide all of what they want to do at the very last minute. Choosing to set these goals on a whim on New Year’s Eve. This is why so many people give up during January or don’t stick to any sort of path to achieve the goal that was set. No thought went into it to ensure this was something you wanted to do or needed to do. So I thought I would share with you some of the things you could start to consider right now that will really help you switch up your lifestyle in the new year and beyond. Thinking now will give you the benefit of time and preparation, hopefully enabling you to stick to your goals more enthusiastically when January hits.
One thing that I’m looking forward on weekends is when my hubby and I take out our favorite chips, make our own guacamole and watch a movie. We must have it at least one evening, whether it’s Friday, Saturday or Sunday. When I was making guacamole last weekend, I though I’d share it with you guys, because as far as I know it’s always good to share and since cooking and preparing food is something I really enjoy doing, it has to be on my blog, as well :).
I promise you the smell and taste of this guacamole will make you speechless!
Attention: this recipe is very easy!
Not long ago, I wrote this article about Activeats, where I described my one day with fresh, already cooked meals. Now, I’ve had a chance to actually try a whole week meal plan and not to worry about cooking at all, only concentrate on work this week. I’m actually a little bit sad, because tomorrow is the last day with Activeats.
My experience is exactly the same as last time, I’m just now more convinced that they really make delicious meals since I’ve had a chance to try more of them.
When I moved to Canada almost 3 years ago, I’ve left all my cookbooks I had in Poland. I love cooking and preparing something yummy for my hubby and me. I sometimes creatively come up with the recipe, but other times, I go accordingly with someone’s instructions. Nina Cucina is a brilliant woman, who promotes healthy lifestyle and as you know that is something I love, as well! 🙂 Her cookbook “Nina Cucina- Your Healthy Gourmet – Beautiful, Healthy Food to Keep You Healthy and Beautiful” is the one I’ve been using the most for over a year now and that’s why I’d like to share it with you.
