We got married!!!

When I was a little girl with blond, curly hair I heard that if you find a four-leaf clover, you’ll have luck in your life. I’d known that we had them in our backyard so what I did is: I got dressed and I went outside to look for one. I searched through probably hundreds of clovers. I spent on it a good amount of time, (I have lots of patience and I’m pretty stubborn, so you know ☺). After a while I came back home very sorrowful, because I didn’t find any, not a single one. I also didn’t tell anyone about it, because I was too afraid that I really won’t have any luck in my life (and my dreams won’t come true), especially if I say it out loud that I didn’t find that four leaf clover.

Three months ago, I was standing opposite to the love of my life 😍❤ while we were saying our vows to each other ❤:

“(…) to have and to hold from this day forward,
For better for worse, for richer for poorer,
In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish,
Til death us do part (…)”

On this day, I realized I’ve found my four leaf clover!!! ❤😍❤ My four leaf clover is right here beside me and I’m the happiest and luckiest woman in the whole Universe 😍☺☺☺.

The day we got married was truly the most beautiful day of our lives ❤😍❤. Everything went so perfect, exactly as we planned. (We still cannot completely believe how perfect everything was going for us before our big day ☺).

We were engaged for about a month, yes, because we didn’t see the point in waiting longer ☺ and we both never wanted a big wedding (I’m simple Ula, remember?☺).
During this month we prepared everything. It was a little hectic, but we did it, it was excellent and we’re now here, together as husband and wife! ❤😍❤

We didn’t spend a lot of money, because I’m kinda “diy girl” ☺. (It’s hard for me to put myself in someone’s hands and believe it’s gonna turn out good, I’m sorry professionals) So I did my own make up and my own hairstyle as I wanted to. The bouquet I made by myself the day before and my love ❤ was with me and helped me a lot making it ☺. I chose lilies, because they’re my mom’s favorite flowers 💙☺. I pinned one flower on my love’s suit and we were all ready and steady 😍.

We both wanted our wedding to be as simple as it’s possible and we had one! ☺
Because you know what? We’re rich, we’re rich in love!
And that’s all that matters for us!!! ❤

And here we are sleeping in one bed and living the life to the fullest as one. I see my love’s sweet face each and every day now (finally!) and I’m extremely happy about it! 😍😃

I love falling asleep in his arms ❤ and I’m looking forward to it each and every day! 😍

I also love when we wake up in the middle of the night and we grab each other’s hand or just a finger 😍 (if it’s +34 Celsius degrees outside 😄).

Our honeymoon (part 1) we spent in Niagara Falls, but we didn’t stop “honeymooning” after it and we’re not planning to ☺😍.

About Niagara Falls, you can believe or not, but it was my dream to be there since I was very young and it’s mostly because almost my whole family (except me and my mom) was there and I heard lots of stories about it, saw lots of pictures of it and was learning about it at school. When we were in the restaurant with a view of Niagara Falls, I realized that not only I’m here, but we celebrated our engagement here and now we’re spending our honeymoon here ❤😍❤. And it’s all thanks to God and my sweet husband! ❤

I’m feeling very blessed! ☺

All in all, four leaf clover doesn’t have to always mean this small, green thing, but it can be completely something else or someone 😊. So be patient. We’ve been waiting for each other pretty long time, patiently, but we’ve found each other so trust us, patience is always rewarded (as I always believe it) ☺. Let life surprise you, because I had no idea that when I come to Canada, I’ll meet here the love of my life. I was joking that if I knew it, I would come much earlier! 😃 (but I believe that that was God’s plan so all is excellent! ☺)

So now the young girl with a curly, blond hair has found her four-leaf clover! 😊😍❤

The funny thing is that my dad, after we got married, told my husband ❤ that he has a 3-month warranty on me 😃 (yes, that’s my dad and his sense of humor 😃💙). Before our 3-month anniversary I reminded this my husband ❤ and he responded that he loves his wife 😍 and there won’t be any return 😃. I’m very glad, because I love my husband!!! 😍☺❤

  13. Congratulations, I love how you had a DIY wedding. It looks so beautiful and professionally done. The photos are so lovely and sweet! I love weddings, they are full of so much happiness and love. Additionally, when you spoke about searching for four-leaf clovers when you were a child it immediately gave me a flashback to when I was a child. I remember so many times when I searched for four-leaf clovers in the yard, I did get lucky at one point and was able to capture one. Heck even to this day, if I am outside and see a batch of clovers on the ground I still search in hopes to find another one. Needless to say, I believe you found your lucky four leaf clover by having a blessed marriage.
