Niagara Falls, ON, Canada is the spot very close to my heart. It was a place that my daddy would talk to me about when I was about 6 years old – I loved his stories and descriptions of places! It is also the place where my hubby and I celebrated our engagement and the place where we went for our honeymoon! Also, many other daily trips, but this time it was different. It is all because this was the first time that we went to Niagara Falls as a family with our beautiful daughter, Lily :).

We spent three amazing days in Niagara Falls and we stayed at Hilton Niagara Falls/ Fallsview Hotel & Suites. Our suite was a Two-Bedroom Deluxe Suite, which we loved, because we had lots of room, whirlpool tub, separate shower and a fireplace. We loved the location of this hotel, because not only it is close to everything, the breathtaking views we had every morning are what makes this hotel one of the best ones there! Waking up to the view of both waterfalls in Niagara, the American Falls and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls is an unforgettable experience. On top of that, we could enjoy the fireworks, that are at 10pm every day, from our room in our cozy pyjamas. Lily loved it the most, as you can guess :).

We had our breakfasts at Watermark Fallsview Dining, where my hubby and I had a wonderful dinner at back in 2018 :). All three of us enjoyed our meals so much, along with spectacular views of both waterfalls. We were also very glad that the weather was perfect during our stay (warm, not too hot and sunny) so we could enjoy the magnificent views every day we were there, during our breakfasts, being in the room and other fun activities :).

One of the attractions we loves was Niagara Parks Power Station + The Tunnel. There we had a chance to discover the incredible history and heritage of the first major power plant on the Canadian side of the Niagara River with immersive exhibits, restored artifacts and interactive storytelling. Then we took a glass elevator to experience from 180 feet beneath the halls of the Niagara Parks Power Station with the all-new tunnel (which is 2,200-foot-long) experience. Once we stepped out onto a new observation deck at the river’s edge, we were in awe! All I want to say is that if you are in Niagara Falls, it’s a must-see attraction!

Later that day, we went to experience Niagara’s Fury, where we had an opportunity to travel back in time 10,000 years. This 4D motion theater lets you discover the ancient story of Niagara Falls in a multi-sensory simulation of the last Ice Age. This experience is the perfect introduction for your Niagara Falls adventure.
We ended the day with the mouthwatering dinner on the Queen Victoria Place Restaurant terrace. As you can imagine, we again had astonishing panoramic view of the majestic falls. We were actually celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary +1 (with our beautiful daughter) so it was even more special! 🙂 Chef Matt Hemmingsen’s mouthwatering creations are out of this world. I loved my vegan meals (QVP Vegan Platter and Vegan Stuffed St. David’s Pepper) and my hubby enjoyed his Reuben Sliders and Cabernet Braised Short Ribs. Lily had Grilled Chicken Breast, which she really liked. For dessert we took Chocolate Ice Cream Sundaes and Chocolate Cheese Cake. After this delicious and celebratory dinner, we enjoyed the fireworks from our hotel room.

The next day, on our way back, we stopped at the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory, which is located near Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens. It features over 2,000 vibrantly coloured butterflies fluttering freely throughout winding pathways adorned with lush vegetation and trickling waterfalls. If you like butterflies just a little bit, it’s a must-see attraction. What’s more The Butterfly Conservatory remains the largest facility of its kind in North America!

Are we going back to Niagara Falls, ON, Canada? For sure! 🙂

Find me on social media, because it’ll be great to have you there and follow me 🙂 :
I just gotta say your photos are INSANELY GOOD! They all have a similar color palette and the lighting is on point. I’m jealous!
I’ve lived a few hours from Niagara Falls my whole life but I’ve actually never been! It’s on my list and I’ve been close to going a few times but something always came up. I think it’s sometimes harder to travel to places you can drive to because it seems like so much more of a chore. For me, anyway!
Thank you so much! I do it all myself.
That’s so true, we live close to Ottawa now, but haven’t been there since we moved here. Hopefully soon!
👍
Thank you 🙂.
What a fabulous time with your family! All your photos are beautiful!
Thank you so much, we certainly had a blast! 😃
I was there back in 1996. Beautiful country and area. There’s more to do than on the U.S. side. I was back up on the U.S. side about 5 years ago….I would definitely recommend it!!!!
We were on the US side back in 2019 and I actually liked it a lot, but yes, there’s more to do on the Canadian side 👍.
