Bedroom is for sleeping, pleasant and restful time. It is our oasis. There are a few things that I cannot live without when it comes to my bedroom.
1. Bedding
Sleep is the most important for our health and well-being. I need my, at least, 8 hour sleep, because if I don’t get this, I feel it everywhere in my body. Of course, sometimes it is not possible, that’s why matcha is my very close friend :).
In order to have a good night sleep, quality bedding is the key. I choose Dianoche Designs. They have many beautiful designs of duvet covers and shams that everyone can find something they’ll love. Just go ahead and check how many styles you can choose from. They have very good quality products that are made in the USA.
I love white (there’s no doubt in that), that’s why I like “I love us” design the most :). It is made with brushed twill so I actually use it right now, during the colder days. In summer and spring, I like using the premium microfiber. It is ultra soft and lightweight. I was in awe when I first saw the “Night sky” design in person.
2. Books
Before going to bed, I like reaching out for a good read. That’s why on my night stand you can see a couple I’m reading right now.
When reading a good book, your mind is distracted from daily stresses and worries that causes tension. That being said, it is beneficial before bed.
3. Candle
V and I like watching movies on the weekends, so lighting a candle for me is necessary. I like setting the mood, especially when it’s cold outside. Candle on, blanket out and I’m ready to dive in some good movie.
4. Essential Oils
I’m pretty sure that you already know that I have a lot of essential oils. It shouldn’t be surprising that I have some of them within hand’s reach. Lavender is the most important to put on the temples, under the nose or even a couple of drops on the pillows for a calmer night.
5. Himalayan Salt Lamp
I wrote about this lamp a very long time ago, so you can read about all the health benefits: here. Let me remind you that it is very advantageous for your health. Do you have wi-fi at home? If your answer is yes, you should have himalayan salt lamp at your home. It is also a great decor item :).
These would be the most important things that I need to have in my bedroom. Of course, on top of the list is the nice and organized space around you, which brings me peace personally.
