June 2024 Favourites: Our Stay At Le Germain Hotel Toronto MLSQ

In the month of June, my family and I spent an incredible weekend in Toronto. We stayed at Le Germain Hotel Toronto Maple Leaf Square, which is located in downtown core. You might remember my blog post from March, where I wrote about our stay at Le Germain Hotel, but in Ottawa. Just like back then, I only have the best things to say about their hotels.

As always, we were welcomed with a beautiful note, a spread of macaroons, water and some fun items for our Lily.

Our room was The Classic, which had everything that we needed. I have to mention that the bed was super comfortable and we slept like on a cloud. We also loved that we had a glimpse of CN Tower from our room, which Lily and I especially were super happy about :).

We had both dinners at Bar Le Germain on both days and we enjoyed our meals outside on their beautiful patio. Let me tell you that Pan-Roasted Half Cornish Hen and Seared Rainbow Trout were our favourites, and for dessert you have to try (whenever you have a chance): Apple Pave – mouthwatering!

While being in Toronto, we wanted to see the Arcadia Earth, which is an immersive experience through planet Earth. It is a multi-sensory journey that combines creative art installations and exciting technology to inspire visitors to take action towards a more sustainable future. All three of us really enjoyed this, because we love anything about sustainability and how to protect the planet for future generations. Additionally, it was really fun for Lily, who is only four years old. That being said, it’s a perfect outing idea for the whole family.

My hubby always wanted to try Egyptian food so we visited Masrawy Egyptian Kitchen in Mississauga. We tried so many delicious items from their menu, but our favourites are: the Chef’s Platter, Masrawy Mixed Grill as an entrée, and their sandwiches: Masrawy Fusion Sandwich and Taamaya. Also, the dessert Om Ali was very yummy! I now cannot wait to go back to the GTA and visit Masrawy once again, and again, and again :).
