January 2024 Favorites: Lily’s 4th Birthday

Since 2020, January is always my daughter’s month! It’s all about her in our home. This year, we celebrated Lily’s fourth birthday and I cannot believe how the time flies. I do know that these four years were so precious having her with us and we are very excited to see what the future holds for all there of us. Three musketeers! 🙂

With Lily’s fourth birthday, we stopped our journey with breastfeeding. I truly can’t believe we’ve been doing it for that long. Before I even got pregnant, I was hoping for two years and I’ll be happy. It turned out to be longer than that. Do I complain? Not at all! I loved it and Lily certainly loved it even more. The time has come though and I’m very proud of my baby that she understood it and once she “hit” 4, she has never asked for it since!

Speaking of birthdays, I would love to mention Fancy Little Day, which carries beautiful, reusable and sustainable party decor. It’s a wonderful way to take care of our planet and don’t buy plastic/latex/foil decor every year for any celebrations. They carry beautiful balloons, party hats, and more. All made with cotton and linen. They also offer customization which is even better.

For the cake topper, we used our favourite company: @madewithlove.partytime. They make beautiful cake toppers, banners, 3D letters, favour boxes, and more. Whatever you wish for, the actually can turn it into reality.

When it comes to beauty, there is one product that I’ve really loved using recently. It’s Clé de Peau Beauté – Radiant Cushion Foundation. I love how easy it is to carry (always in my bag!) and apply it with its cushion. You can build up the coverage however you want and it lasts all day. Brilliant!

Last, but not least, if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed the recipe/ reel I shared recently. Here it is if you haven’t seen it:

As you can see, I love making these cookies with my daughter and all three of us love eating them, at least once a week if not more :). You can find the recipe on Medical Medium’s website here. Try them and you won’t regret it :).
