It’s almost Christmas and I have 20,000 wonderful followers on my blog!

I am very excited for this Christmas and one, main reason for it is that I’ll get to spend it with my husband ❤. It’ll be our first Christmas as husband and wife ❤ and we’ve started creating our traditions during this special time of the year ☺.

Christmas starts tomorrow, but I’ve already got my first gift and it’s a gift from all of you guys! ☺ Yesterday the number of my subscribers here has reached 20,000! 20,000 -can you believe it?! 😃 It makes me so thankful for each one of you and I can’t thank you enough for being here with me! ☺💞

One of my goals for 2018 is to write more here for you! ☺ And yes, I am also going to write a blog post about reaching such a huge amount of followers in such a short time (many of you asked me for this), so please stay tuned (and be patient) ☺.

I’m getting so many sweet comments and private messages from you (my followers) on my instagram and on my email that it only motivates me even more to write here and post on my instagram more often so please don’t get annoyed in 2018 if you “see” simple Ula too much 😃.

Going back to Christmas… ☺, my husband and I have been watching one Christmas movie each weekend since the beginning of December. Believe it or not, but it was a wonderful time to spend together under the blanket, with the candles and Christmas lights all around us. (I put 400 Christmas lights only in our bedroom 😃, but what can I say – I really like them 😃 and luckily my hubby doesn’t mind them at all and likes how it looks 😃).

We decorated the Christmas tree together only last Sunday (I know, pretty late, but couldn’t make it earlier). After we did it, we rewarded ourselves with hot cocoa and we just sat and enjoyed our work and the beauty of the tree ☺.

I don’t know about you, but I like planning ahead, because otherwise I panic if I don’t have enough time and have to rush, which I don’t like. So we’ve started cooking already for Christmas two weekends before 😃 and I’m very happy about it, because now we don’t have that much to do.

As an interesting fact, I can tell you that we’ve beaten our record from last year and we’ve made 64 pierogies (with porcini mushrooms) this time 😃 (ten more than last year). Wow, that was very time consuming, but I’m very happy about it, because it’s a meal I cannot spend Christmas without 😃.

(In Poland, people prepare 12 dishes for Christmas Eve, but even though after listening my parents telling me to try a little bit of everything, I was sticking with pierogies, I’m a pierogie girl [but only the ones with mushrooms, the mushrooms from the forest] 😃).

Another fun fact is that we have already bought Christmas gifts for each other in November(!) and they will be surprises for both of us and yes, I know Christmas is not about gifts, but I’m kinda excited to see what my love chose for me ❤😃 and I’m very excited to see if he’ll like my gift 😃.

On Christmas Eve, my hubby and I will celebrate our 6 months anniversary ❤😍☺. I’m very happy that we will always have our half anniversary on Christmas Eve 😃.
