Our Date Around Nature

Before this summer has started, one of the things I wanted to do is go for a picnic with my husband. Finally, one sunny Sunday we made it happen. I was so happy about this date we had around the nature, because this kind we both like the most. What’s great about such dates is that, they don’t cost much and we all know how important it is to date your significant other, even and especially when you’re married.

My skirt is from Shein

I’m not sure if you’ve had the same visions as me, but I was always picturing the picnic with a cute basket I saw in movies or very nice pictures. When I’ve found out about Picnic Time I went crazy and wanted not only one, but two baskets and of course, the blanket and since my hubby and I are pretty tall, we took the largest one they have in offer. It’s so convenient to put everything in the basket and you’re ready for an adventure.

My hubby got me a flower! 😍

I don’t know about you, but I reeeeally like organic sundried tomatoes and even though Savor makes them already in oil, I like to add a little bit of avocado oil I bought from Primal Kitchen (another great company with delicious, mostly organic products). What I did was I put a couple of tomatoes on top of the organic 3 grain crispbread from Savor – it’s just the best! 🙂 My hubby, on the other hand, is a fan of crackers, especially the ones with pepper.

After our snacks, my hubby and I ate gummy bears, but they are not just regular gummy bears, but vitamins for adults and kids. We take vegan D3 and B12 and “pure beauty” ones, which are for hair, skin and nails (actually these ones are only for me) every day.

After eating all the goodies we brought with us, we went for a little walk. We planned to do it before, that’s why we wore our most comfiest shoes we have. What really makes me happy is that they’re from the Polish company Fairma Ethical Design and what I like the most about them is that they are made of vegan leather and what’s better than this? I like my white sneakers which are probably my fifth pair of white sneakers I have at the moment. What can I do? I just like white sneakers! 🙂 Also, I convinced my hubby to get a pair of light color shoes, because all he has are in darker shades and I’m content that he likes them as much as I do, but I think that the fact that they are very comfortable helps a lot for him to say that he really enjoys wearing them.

This whole time we didn’t use our phones at all and I think that was the smartest idea we made during our date, because as you know, sometimes the call, e-mail or text takes us somewhere else from the place we should be present.

What’s your best date idea outside or, if you’re not in a relationship, how do you usually spend time outdoor?

  1. Ahhh this looks lovely! We tend to take the dog for a countryside walk and stop for a drink in a local pub 🙂 Chloe x

  2. This is so beautiful. I love nature and walking through the park is a great date. I love too talk. Haven’t done a picnic, but that’ll be the date Boaz and I will have when we meet. 🙂

      1. I’m not gonna lie, sometimes it’s only 3 🤷🏻‍♀️🙂🌻

  3. Sounds like a wonderful time. And the weather looked great, too. I enjoy walking through parks with friends, especially where there are gardens and lily ponds. It is so relaxing. I also love to walk through old cemeteries. It may sound odd, but it is very peaceful and some of the very old tombstones are quite interesting.
