Fall In Love With Miami

When you want to treat yourself to a little bit of luxury, you might think about cars, houses or clothes but if you really want to give yourself a treat, think Miami.

This city has it all. It’s pure fun, great weather and stunning beaches. What’s not to love? Alright, it might make a little dent in your bank account but it’s all worth it right?

Let’s take a look at some other things you might get up to if you can tear yourself away from the beach.

Get on the water

Check out boat rental in Miami and explore the coastline from a luxury yacht or exhilarating speed boat ride. You can also take day trips to some of the fascinating surrounding islands for a little more peace and tranquillity if city life is all getting too much for you.

With the sea on your doorstep, you might also consider giving some water sports a try from parasailing to snorkelling, book your instructor and spend a fun day seeing the city from a whole different angle.

Ocean Drive

This historic area of the city features a collection of stunning Art Deco buildings, many with fascinating stories behind them about the rich and famous residents who have lived there over the years. Take yourself down the strip with a guide book or get on an organised tour to learn all about the history of this area.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

If you’re taking a break from beach life for the day then check out this villa built in 1916 as the winter home of industrialist James Deering. Filled with beautiful furniture and art from as far back as the fifteenth century this stunning building and its’ collections is well worth taking some time to explore and to bask in the opulence.

Everglades National Park

You can’t visit the state of Florida without checking out this famous park. Home to crocodiles, alligators and hundreds of types of birds this swampland is an amazing home to wildlife of all kind. Take an airboat tour that allows you to whizz around to the best spots and take in a live alligator show. Head back to the beach to get over the shock of seeing so many alligators in one place.

This exceptional part of the world is so much more than just heat, humidity and of course Disney. Yes, you can do all that and spend a lot of time lazing on the beach and people watching but just a few minutes outside of Miami, lies a whole state that offers some fascinating tourist attractions. Make the most of your time there to visit some beautiful national parks and museums as well as taking advantage of the amazing beaches and water sports that go alongside them.

You may be spending a little more on a trip to Miami, but you’ll take home some memories and experiences that are going to last a lifetime. Get booking your luxury trip, we guarantee you won’t regret it.

  1. I’ve never visited Miami, and I love all the features you said it had to offer, so maybe I will just go and fall in love with this amazing city, and see for myself! I surely do enjoy reading your articles, and I am always looking forward to your next one! 😃

  2. Miami is a good placed. I live ther 4 years ago. But it was too hot in summer. I really like europeans cities, where the public transport is bettter and cheapwr. Like Madrid. USA is always drive, drive, drive.

    Thanks for the advices!

  3. Yes, yes and again, yes! Splendid article and great suggestions! A Florida vaca is planned for next year, and you’ve made me all the more eager for it. In fact, you’ve inspired me to leave now, though I haven’t saved nearly enough money yet. Hurry up, 2020!. Thanks for the dreams until then!

  4. I’m OBSESSED with Miami and South Beach!!! I wrote a post about my favorite things to do there and am going to write a second on my trip I just got back from.

      1. Such a good post 🔥 I’ve always stayed at Fontainebleau but stayed at the W a few weeks ago and was blown away. Have you ever dined at the Versace mansion?!

  5. I just wrote a post about my favorite restaurants (trendy spots!) that I love visiting in Miami – I’d love if you would check it out because we both have such a love for the 305 🙂

  6. I came to Miami In June for a nice 2 week vacation. When I got back home I put in my notice, packed my car and moved to Miami.

It’s easy to spend money here, but very hard to earn money here.
