Québec reveals a life-size multicoloured landscape and that’s why we wanted to spend some time during in this beautiful province this fall. Étienne & Cathy’s chalets are located in the heart of Quebec’s Laurentian forest in Kanata Tremblant. Each has a different ambiance and décor, a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and so much more. The one we stayed at was Canaparche 6, which has the capacity of eight people and an exceptional view of nature.

Our three-night-stay at this beautiful, luxury chalet was one for the books. We love being around nature, so especially on a rainy day, the huge windows on the main floor are a beautiful addition to this cottage. The whole decor is very thoughtful and the chalet is equipped with everything you might need and it feels exactly like at home. All four bedrooms come with big and very comfortable beds, plus you have two full bathrooms.

During our stay, we visited the Sentier Des Dimes, which is only 25 minutes away. It is a must-see attraction, where you can admire the fabulous landscape of the Laurentians.

Of course, we had to also visit not-to-be-missed quaint Mont-Tremblant village, which is again just a short drive from the chalets. For dinner, we went to sEb L’artisan culinaire restaurant. We were fond of the ambiance of the restaurant and the appetizers were the best ones I have ever had at any restaurant ever. I’m sure we will be back there whenever we’re in town.

On our last day, we went to Omega Park, which is located 37 minutes from the chalets. As you can imagine, we all loved it there, but especially Lily, who had a chance to see so many animals she’d never seen before! At Omega Park, you can observe a wide variety of animals in their natural habitats from the comfort of your vehicle as you drive along a 12-km-long trail in this park. We spent there almost the whole day, saw wolves, caribous, deers, moose, elk, bears, Przewalski horses, bisons and so many more wonderful animals. We also really enjoyed the First Nations Trail, where you can take a stroll and enjoy the history of the 11 First Nations of Quebec, represented by totems made by a Native American artist. This park is another place that we will be back at one day, for sure!

On top of all these amazing places to visit, you can also enjoy hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, swimming, cycling, rafting, snowshoeing, snowboarding, dog sledding and so much more while staying at Étienne & Cathy. Depending on your preferences and the season.

One more thing that I really appreciate when it comes to Étienne & Cathy’s chalets is that all of their chalets have a low ecological footprint, are very well insulated, etc. Each cottage is equipped with an electric vehicle charging station. Additionally, their chalets are carbon neutral, and trees are planted to fully offset visitors’ travel and stays.

That being said, if you ever are or planning to go to Quebec, this is the place to stay at! My family and I highly recommend Étienne & Cathy and hopefully, we will be back! 🙂
