Friday’s Five: New Launches You Need To Know About

I had an opportunity to attend two virtual events about new launches in the beauty industry. The first one was (mainly) with Shannon Hess who is an associate director of responsible sourcing at Burt’s Bees. I loved finding out about all the sources of their ingredients. Second event was with Julian Cox, deputy director and chief curator for the AGO and James Boehmer, global artistic director for Shiseido Makeup. I really enjoyed seeing behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition and listen to live discussion of the intersection of art, culture, design, inclusivity, fashion, and self-expression – from the irreverent 1970s to current trends in beauty.

1. Light Adjusting™ Technology In Your Foundation

The newest Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting foundation from Shiseido syncs with light for all-day flawless radiance. It visibly lifts, refines, and smooths for a luminous finish in any light thanks to light-adjusting technology. What I like a lot about it is that when using my fingers while applying this foundation, my face looks very natural afterwards. This product also provides up to 24-hour hydration and weightless comfort.

2. Multi-Use Products

Other makeup products from Shiseido are also worth checking out. Minimalist WhippedPowder Blush is very easy to apply and has a soft-matte finish (which I like a lot!). Aura Dew Highlighter can be used for eyes, lips and/or lips and colors are very beautiful and rich. Last, but not least Kajal Ink Artist Shadow, Liner, Brow is a four-in-one liner with 12-hour waterproof wear.

3. Best Eye Mask Ever

Yesterday I had a chance to use this Vital Perfection Uplifting and Firming Express Eye Mask from Shiseido and it’s the best eye mask I have ever used! I was so impressed that I’m still slightly in shock and I cannot wait to see the results after using it for a longer period of time.

4. Lip Care

I think that I can say that majority of us used at some point Burt’s Bees lip balm in our lives :). I really like them and their newest Tinted Lip Balms are also great! You’re taking care of your lips while having a little bit of a nice color to it, very smart. I like the smells of their lip balms a lot too. The best thing though is that their products are made with responsibly sourced moisturizing butters and with natural origin ingredients.

5. Start Light And Build Up

I like this technique, do you? 🙂
