Gender Reveal!

Yesterday we went for an ultrasound and I even woke up earlier than usual, because I just was too excited. I texted V and he said that he’s so enthusiastic too :). We love seeing our little baby waving at us on the screen.

What We Wanted

To be honest with you, neither V nor I wanted one gender so badly. We only wanted to know that our baby is growing healthy and that everything will go well during this pregnancy. To be drastically honest with you, I was getting a little mad when people were saying “girls are the best” or “boys are lots of fun”. It doesn’t matter, both genders are amazing and there are amazing things to do with both boys and girls. At the end, the way you raise them will mean more than what gender they are.

I have nieces and nephews and I was playing with them when they were little babies and when they were/are teenagers. I had lots of fun with all of them and again it didn’t matter boy or girl.

We Know What We Are Having

On our ultrasound yesterday, it took a little long to find out what we are having. The sonographer was checking if all is ok. Thank God, everything is great :). After some time, we found out that we are having a precious little girl! We are beyond excited and she’s even kicking while I’m writing this right now :).

Cannot Wait

We cannot wait to play with you and run after you, because I know you will have lots of energy :). I’m already picturing you with daddy while you listen to him so closely about all the planets and stars.

For now, grow healthy and strong inside of me and then we will play and have lots of fun, all three of us! We cannot wait! 🙂

Thank you so much for reading and sharing this joy with us!

  1. I said it before, your baby is very lucky to have so loving parents. And you are lucky to have such a considerate and loving husband. But I guess you are the same … 😉 … not husband, of course, you know what I mean … 🙂
I share your view on genders. All this girl or boy stuff has a segregating effect. I don’t mean that the sexes should BE or LOOK exactly the same, my point is that all genders are of equal value, as are people of different nations or religions.

    1. Indeed, I agree with you 100%! And thank you so much for your sweet words!!! ☺💕🌷

  2. Congratulations!
My daughter is in the same boat. She did a Maternity photo shoot for her gender reveal. It’s pink! I am one happy Grandma.
I pray your families are excited for you as I am for my daughter. God bless you both.

  3. Wonderful! It’s an exciting time for you. I pray for a safe delivery when the time comes and a very healthy little girl. God bless all three of you!

  4. Awww I feel thrilled for you!! Totally agree on your thoughts of gender, but it’s still exciting to know you’ll be welcoming a little girl to the family soon 😊
    Caz xx

  5. Oh Darn. I was wanting you to wait for a little while. In the last trimester I have been very successful in offering a speculation. The neat thing is that I have missed only two times and all because there were circumstances that were not to be perceived. Well, I am very happy for you and V. You will be great parents.

  6. I hope the New Year holidays will find you and your little one to be healthy.
Merry Christmas and many happy years together!
