Happy Birthday To Me

31! I cannot believe I’m 31 already, because I do not feel like it, at all. Age is just a number like everyone is saying. I remember being younger thinking that being over 30 is so serious. I am not feeling serious, but I do feel extremely happy that I have the love of my life next to me and the fruit of our love in me! 🙂

Surprises

This time, we didn’t go anywhere, but V did surprise me with a beautiful birthday gift and a dinner at a restaurant. I didn’t expect neither of these, because we did agree on not doing anything since I’m six months pregnant and have everything that I need :).

Some Sweetness

When we got back home, we could enjoy my beautiful birthday cake, which was made by Ashley from Sweet Pieces Bakery. I have to tell you that this girl is very talented! The cake not only looked beautiful, smelled amazing, but tasted very delicious. I asked for chocolate cake with coconut icing and this was a great choice. If you ever look for a birthday cake or any other occasional cake, I highly recommend her. You won’t be disappointed :).

Reflection

Being older and being where I am in my life, birthdays are not about huge parties or gifts you’re getting. For me, it’s about the year that passed (what have you accomplished?) and the year that’s coming (what more can you do?) :). I’m so happy that I’m 31, married with a baby on the way. To be honest with you, the little precious in my tummy is my best gift I could have ever received! I am blessed and very grateful forever.
